My Favorite Tips to Overcome Overwhelm
Make a Top 5 list. Write down a list of your five most-supportive friends or family and put it up on the fridge. The visual reminder of your go-to support group can help break the stress.
Agenda Set. Take a moment to brainstorm all of the things on your to-do list. Create three columns labeled today, tomorrow and day after. Fill the columns up with things that feel like they need to be done “right now” and prioritize the most important tasks.
Nourish and hydrate. Stress can deplete our bodies of nutrients and water. Drink at least half your body weight in filtered water and eat nutrient-dense foods to help build stress resiliency.
Go for a walk. No time for the gym? Take just a five-minute walk around the block. The fresh air, sunshine and a change of scenery can reset your stress response.
Get holistic. Self-care strategies like regular acupuncture, health coaching and functional medicine lab work will help you develop stress resiliency.
I have curated a list of my favorite pharmaceutical-grade natural stress reduction products just for you.
